Birthday

My birthday is January 26th, and I'm so excited! I'll be turning 12. Age seems to make me happy and sad at the same time...
But hey, who could beat free cake and a sleepover with my best friends ever?

In a galaxy far, far, away...

I call the goat on the ramp starwars goat! Just take a look at his horns and you'll know why!

Hay(and lots of it!!!)

This is me by a hay stack! Wow!!!

Penelope

They call this cow Penelope. She always has this grumpy look on her face, it's so funny!

Piggy and me!

They let you go inside the barn and snuggle with the pigs! ( they're really not that dirty.)

Farm sancuary

Farm sancuary is a place where they rescue farm animals that are going to be killed in slaughter houses! It brings tears to your eyes just seeing them so happy there, especially if you're a vegetarian, like me. Above some of the pictures of when we stayed there last year.

In School

Hey everyone! I am in school typing this, in computers class to be exact. I go to an all girls private school, and I am currently in 6th grade. I just love it here, at my school. It's awesome!!!
We have really small classes(only 10 in the 6th grade), but that's why I love it so much. And, my classmates and teachers are amazing.
I'm finally enjoying the school-experience, and that makes me really happy.

Soccer Camp

This summer, I'll be enrolling in a sleep-away soccer camp! I love soccer, so this is like a dream come true for me. I think(unlike most kids) I'll like the tight schedule, and waking up at 7:30 A.M. every day. But,(like most kids) it will also be a blast rooming with one or two of my best friends Sunday-Thursday. Too bad it's only January and the camp starts in..
July.
I just can't wait!

Me, Maddy

This is a picture of me from about a year ago. I was in 5th grade then, but now I'm in mid 6th grade.

Visits over the holidays

This is my brother Gabe and his girlfriend, Melodie. They're visiting over the holiday break, and we've had a lot of fun.
Let's just hope that I can get back on a regular schedule for school starting on Monday and all...
Ugh.

An awesome city

This is a picture of Pittsburgh, a medium sized city that I live fairly close to. I actually live in a very small town, so, going to Pittsburgh is amazing to me. I love all the museums, malls, rivers, and bridges. But, I'd say my favorite areas of the place are Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, and Southside. They're so fun!

One of my other dogs, Cocoa

What do you think of when you here the words, Pit bull? Vicious beast that is sure to tear my throat out? An animal that I should avoid? Wrong! Those are all stereo types. This here is my pit bull, Cocoa, who is about the sweetest dog ever.
Well...
She might lick you to death!

Another pic of my pom, Smoochey!

This is her as a puppy, about a year ago. Cute, huh?

Pom Thoughts

If you know what a pom is, then you're most likely wondering why I chose that name as a title. You might call a pomeranian a powder puff on legs, fluff ball, pom, or all of the above. But if you want to get scientific, a pomeranian is a dog, 3-6 pounds in size(although mega poms are available) with more fluff than you(or it) knows what to do with. I actually have one myself, and I adore her to pieces. I've celebrated her birthday, taken her to soccer games(although that didn't quite work out when she tried to join the action), and even fed her scraps from a gross meal under our dining room table. Yet, I wouldn't say that I've spoiled her at all(although some people think otherwise.)
So, do you think it would be appropriate to dedicate this little blog to her? Yeah, I thought so.
